"Vi overnattet en natt på vår vei til hytta og fikk et stort rom med alle faciliteter. Hadde ikke middag siden vi hadde spist før vi kom om kvelden, men var en tur i nattklubben Alex som serverte fin dansemusikk fra kl 22. Eter en god frokost neste dag hadde vi en flott biltur til Loenvatnet og Kjenndalsbreen før vi dro videre."

"Das Hotel Loenfjord liegt an der Hauptstraße. Autolärm gibt es hier zumindest nachts so gut wie nicht, obschon unser Doppelzimmer zur Parkplatz- und Straßenseite lag. Gegenüber gibt es direkt einen Supermarkt. Empfehlenswert ist eine Fahrt am See Lovatnet entlang, um dann am Ende einer kleinen Mautstraße (Selbstzahler mit Geld im Umschlag) von einem Parkplatz aus ziemlich mühelos zu Fuß zum einem Ausläufer des Nigardsbreen zu gelangen."
