"We stayed for four nights. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room - nice and big with a mini fridge and microwave. For the price, I would stay here again. I deducted one star because the halls really stank of cigarette smoke, which gave me a sore throat. Note that you can get public transit downtown (takes about 45 min). And there are things nearby (eg, frozen daiquiris, fast food). Close to the highway. As expected at a budget hotel, there were sketchy people staying there...

"The staff was pleasant, the facilities were decent, the bed was comfortable and the mini fridge was convenient. The breakfast was decent, and it was a 30 min bus ride into the french quarter. The TV did not work, the room was cleaned up but not clean, and the phone wasnt plugged into a phone line. "

"The overall stay was fine. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room door and bathroom door were difficult to close. I’m guessing that is due to the location’s foundation issues. I do think that the hotel could use an upgrade in the bathrooms. A counter around the sink would be convenient for patrons toiletries. "

"We came to go to the beach and it is a clean place to stay with you family and our dog without any problems. Its nothing fancy but it is clean and friendly and no problems checking in or out . "
