"The check in staff were very rude to my husband! I made the reservations and paid in full through Hotels.com app. My husband came first from Waco to Galveston for our Grandson's playoffs. The hotel would not let him check in without me being there. So I had to change the name on the reservation through Hotels.com to my husband's name before he could check in. So I had to jump through those hoops in Waco online while I was sitting at my Granddaughter's game! Also, the whole hotel smells like...

"The staff at this location was wonderful! They were really nice and helpful! The hotel was clean, but you can see the signs of wear and tear (example spots on the lamp shades- probably due to having a balcony that opens out to the ocean and the moisture from that). We did have some minor problems with the room, but the staff was so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the location was in walking distance to the convention center and the beach. "This was our first time going. The housekeeping was amazing they would make the beds and put my daughter pikachu on the middle of the bed she was so happy. The breakfast was very good as well. We will make sure to stay here again "

"I think it’s a really good and convenient hotel. Especially is directly across from Walmart so u can walk or drive right across the street to get things u may need or forgot at home. The breakfast is simple and nice. In a roomy area not cramped up. The rooms are spacious. Oh and it’s a 2 min walk to the Seawall so you’re right there around everything. Only thing I’ll complain about is the air in the building but it’s understandable because they are under construction with some things"

"The overall stay was very enjoyable. Honestly was expecting the room to be as big as it was. The only issues were there wasnt anything in the shower to hold soap (just a shower head and handle), alarm clock did not work. The best breakfast items were the waffles, muffins, cereal and drinks. The danishes seemed a little stale. Most of the staff was wonderful. Very friendly and help."
