There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or a notification. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"

"Yufuin is a really cute place for shopping that is also close to nature. My stay was very short but the Japanese style room was very comfy. The ryokan is near the train tracks so you will hear trains going by but it wasnt bothersome and they dont go on throughout the night or really early in the morning. "We had a fantastic stay here! The staff Alex and the team, were super friendly and had even planned daily group activities. We ordered the dinner set and it was incredible! We were able to get a ride to and from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend giving them a call if you need to (we just used a payphone) as there was issues with sending messages on this website.
