"This property was an extremely affordable option. The staff was extremely accommodating and kept the place very clean. Air conditioning worked well. We did not choose the continental breakfast option, so we cannot comment there. If you are on a tight budget, this is a great choice!"

"The property was very clean and centrally located. It was great value for money. The downside was I booked the wrong date and despite availability for the correct date the accomodation or Ebookers, not sure would not change it. Also we booked a room expecting 2 double beds and 2 singles but got 1 double and 3 singles which included a bed settee and pull out. Sheets were not provided for the bed settee. Overall great value but not what we thought we were getting. "

Located in the Old Harbor area of the port, the hotel has a beautiful, old-style charm in its courtyard, lobby and dining/sitting room, and clean, fresh bedrooms and bathrooms, with charming modern furniture and fittings. "Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "

"A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. The Pension is spotless, pool lovely and quiet and breakfast each day had plenty of choices. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of wonderful restaurants literally on the doorstep. And don’t bother with the journey to Koukanaries…Paraskevi Beach is just across the road and very relaxing with plenty of amenities. Bus stop is a few hundred yards away, too. Perfect for going into...

"Sorry, but this hotel was shambolic. The balcony was nice and had a nice and certainly view over Skiathos but everything else was derelict. Usually I appreciate that one gets what one pays for, but what I was charged by Expedia for this derelict and rather dirty property was outrageous. Some may appreciate the noisy neighborhood as authentic but in my case it just added to the disappointment. "

"Great place for a short stay dedicated to exploring Skopelos island. Supermarket and Enterprise car and motorcycle rental on the street level. Great tavern Afolapsi next door. "

"A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Too brief at only one night. We wanted to get a taste of Skopelos with a view of returning in a year or so. That taste was great. Nice, friendly staff and so helpful. They made our stay. Hotel is close to the town and it’s many restaurants and shops. "

Avevo esitato a prenotare per il fatto che non ci fosse nessuna recensione, ma ora posso dire con certezza consigliatissimo. Vicino c'è il super market, il benzinaio e il fruttivendolo ma comunque a non più di mezzo km si arriva al centro città e al porto."

"We've just come back from staying here and we cant recommend it more! Its in-between bus stop 7 and 8 (8 being at the bottom of the hill) the rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff there were lovely. The only downside is the hill from the main road, but we hired a quad so it was fine. We walked down at night but always got a taxi back, 10 euros from the town, which is pretty cheap. We had a lovely week here and the views were fabulous. "
