"We had a fantastic 14 nights in Skopilos, The villa was functional and private to a point! there is a neighbouring cottage that has a door leading onto the villa which the cleaner comes through at any point daily, so keep a cover near by if you want to enjoy sun bathing as natural as you like it too be.Cherry cottage is also on a corner of the main Glossa to Skopilos main road, you have to be very careful when getting in or out with a car as the gate doesn't fully open.The decor is dated and some areas poorly maintained loose electrical plug sockets etc.Having said that, there was an abundance of clean bed sheets and towels as our lovely cleaner came to change theses approximately 8 times in the two weeks. The poolside equipment has had its day and two pieces were decrepid /unusable.I hate being negative about our holiday accommodation as i am aware of the throughput of us island invaders (tourists) on the villas and properties, we did not use the lower accommodation but if had kids i would be on alert because of the ajoining door from the cottage next door.As a couple we found a way to enjoy the cottage ,we felt happy there and stayed in a couple of days not needing to go anywhere other than the pool.Views are restricted by the lovely olive trees and vegitation by the pool area, so maybe update the listing as the pictures are misleading. Apologies for this slightly negative review, it is as you maybe aware an Honest one, i have starated this airing on the positive."

"This property was excellent for a larger group not looking to have split hotel rooms. The hosts were friendly and helpful with recommendations. There are grounds crews present for the several properties, but they are extremely friendly and quiet. The location is good as it provides a halfway point for exploring all parts of the island."

"This is actually a fantastic hotel for families. We rented a two bedroom house with a private pool. The service was excellent. They have a great breakfast spread. There is a free shuttle to the port. You do not need a car. The wait staff at the pool was fantastic. The main pool gets the prize for the deepest hotel pool I’ve ever swam in. Great stay. Highly recommend. "

"We LOVED our stay on Skopelos! If you're looking for a picture perfect villa complete with a beautiful swimming pool and four lounge chairs, with a view of the Skopelos harbor within a 10-15 minute drive of the town, you found your place. The queen sized beds in the first floor bedrooms with a/c units were very comfortable and the quilts beautiful. The small loft bedroom up a steep step of moveable stairs above the washing machine - also had a comfortable bed but no a/c, just a fan so a bit warm.The kitchen had some basic supplies and we did figure out how to use the stove but never did figure out how to use the oven. The well-equipped kitchen had a toaster, electric tea kettle. Assisted by google translate, we used the washer and and dried our clothing on the two drying racks with clothespins. Dimitris had a friend who escorted us to the house via moped - which was very helpful as we would have had difficulty finding the villa otherwise, and he also arranged our car rental. Dimitris was a wonderful host, super communicative. Note: driving up to the villa is an adventure, especially with a stick shift car and aggressive Greek drivers. We always returned before dark to be safe and had some trouble parking in the half paved area near the villa with the lack of traction and steepness. We continue to debate whether we'd just stay in the outskirts of the harbour town next time to avoid having to drive at all on Skopelos as much as we loved the villa. "
