Our room had an electric fire which was very useful as the weather was cold for June. Overall it was an old quirky character full property with really friendly owners. "First time I'd stayed at the Clifton and it was a lovely stay. Lovely welcome, lovely view across the bay from my bed, and nice and clean and comfortable. Would have liked a little lamp in my room instead of the big light, and the bathroom fan didnt work but other than that it was lovely. Breakfast was self service and it was lovely, the sausages were MASSIVE and the waiter brought coffee or tea as required. Would i stay again ? Yes, most definitely. I'm a Morecambe FC season ticket holder...

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. "It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"This hotel scammed us. Despite booking and paying for a double room, they pretended Expedia had only booked a single…and said they had no rooms left. They told another couple arriving later the same evening the same lie. They had clearly rebooked our rooms as soon as they could charge a higher - peak season - rate. Appalling - no one should stay here!"

Little to no mention about the actual details regarding sharing a flat, other guests were extremely noisy, particularly very early in the morning Property, not in the best of conditions, with bathroom doors, not locking, which is extremely disconcerting for a shared flat. The facilities were not good, poor lighting, the whole place needed a lot of renovation...
