"So much was excellent. The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. Breakfast was far more than we'd expected, especially after some poor offerings elsewhere. Fresh cake, cereal, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, juice, etc. Only suggestion to Sever would be to tidy it up a bit in places - outside litter pick, replace odd bits of tatty furniture (our bed frame and one shelf), strengthen the WiFi...

"We had the perfect stay at Dom Manuel! This family run hotel is warm, welcoming, and staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a large variety of foods available at breakfast to suit every taste, and when we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant, the service was impeccable and the food divine. "

"Location au 2ème étage, la montée et descente pas facile, les marches sont de différentes hauteurs, la soirée des deux voisins d’en face très très bruyants, musique, cris, paroles, avec des cris de satisfaction d’un des couples, enfin vers 3hoo du matin, accalmie, fenêtre fermée, heureusement elles sont étanches au bruit, mais ne laissent pas la fraîcheur de rentrer. We then left to find another place to stay. The lady called after 20 minutes but we had left by that time to find some where else to stay. She then sent very rude text messages to us - we do not recommend this place. "
