"We were two mums and two 10 year olds on a theatre trip. This hotel was perfect for us - easy to drive to (outwith the centre), plenty parking, very nice staff, spacious room (double bed and bunk beds family room) and easy to get into the City (number 26 bus from just round the corner got us there in 25 mins) In the morning, the girls went for a swim - we were able to supervise from the side - the pool was nice and clean, and the guy working there was really helpful and kind. "Great location for getting to Murrayfield. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazingly we didn’t hear the wedding parties in full swing both nights we were there (my heart sank initially when I saw them). Rooms were nice and clean although could’ve done with some extra deep hoovering at the carpet edges next to wall. Would recommend. Particularly the staff. They were great. "

"The city hotel is Clean, convenient and comfortable. We have stayed here a few times and is good value for money. Love the two older ladies who clean. The breakfast is good and it’s right in the centre. "

"This hotel is away from the hustle & bustle of city life, but it is right on the bus route in and out of Edinburgh. We got instructions from the desk staff on how to use the Lothian Bus system. Breakfasts were buffet style and kept supplied by the staff. I enjoyed the wide variety of food choices for breakfast."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have some difficulty with getting the toilet to flush and the staff came up to our room and made sure it was functioning properly. They also were able to print our boarding passes for our return flights for us. The breakfasts offered a wide variety of hot or cold foods and drinks. Staying in Sterling allowed us to visit sites in Glasgow, Ayr and Edinburgh. We only had a 30 minute drive to Edinburgh Airport for our return flights to USA."
