"I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. "

Great decor, always something interesting to look at, comfortable, well laid out rooms with plenty of space. AND we had a Sea View! Splendid. "Lovely stay in centre of village . Room was comfy and spotless with all expected ammenites , Only snag was our view was a wall and not the gorgeous views offered elsewhere. Breakfast was tasty but heads up its a hot / cold buffet . Car parking on site is practically impossible but main seahouses carpark just over the road at a cost of 10 pound for 24 hours . This we learnt could be refunded at hotel if you give in your ticket but as required parking up after leaving carpark was a hassel so...

"I don't understand why the previous reviews were so negative. I've stayed in various hotels all over the world and this one was perfectly fine.
