"We have stayed at the Gateway for over 30 years, and we very much like it there. However, the hotel has started charging a new $50 pet fee. That's their choice, but it does make them less competitive with other hotels in the area who don't charge a fee. Since we usually travel with our dogs, we may be looking elsewhere. "

"The staff was very pleasant. They found out after I checked in, by cleaning crew, that my refrigerator wasn’t working and I no more got everything in my room and the maintenance crew was there. They had it fixed immediately and apologized that they hadn’t found out about and had it fixed before I got into the room. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there, they were always smiling and happy. I liked the kitchen area with stove and full frig. I only stayed for 2 days but if I was going to stay...

"Loved this hotel. Enough room to put up my twins 3 pack b plays in the living room. The bedroom area was the biggest room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast options were not that great. But good enough for a free breakfast. We loved it being a 8 minute walk to the gas station. So we were able to fill up on snacks without getting back in the car. "

"Better than expected. Staff and room were great. Don’t expect to eat at the in house restaurant, smelled like stale smoke and took forever. Overall we would stay again. "

"We did a one night stay. I will say the lobby area and hallways were definitely hot. Rooms air was off as well but I understand that to save money. But room was clean it seems that they are about to remodel. They had boxes and caution tape around certain areas. Pool was just right temp. The staff was extremely helpful and nice."
