"I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated. "

"Breakfast was okay, but not great. The eggs I think would do better as scrambled. The biscuits and gravy were great though. Everything else was great about the stay, and I will look to get another room if I need to stay overnight in Ames again."

"We had had a horrible experience just before we got there at another hotel. The staff at Quality Inn were fantastic! They listened to our frustration, did a quick but thorough job of checking us in, the room was spotless, and the person at the front desk when we left was very helpful and kind. We will recommend Quality Inn! "

"Employees need to wear a uniform. Most didn't speak English and you didn't know they were staff until they started working on . Front desk staff was excellent. Pancake machine was broken 3 of the 4 days we stayed. "
