"Nice hotel by the beach/ water in Xylokastro, with many restaurants and bars along the beach promenade. Very friendly staff. Everything was fine except that doors/ locks are noisy when you close/ open the doors, and the isolation between rooms are bad (like most hotels). Since it was low season with few guest, the noise mentioned above was no problem for us at night. Evening was very quiet."

We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. "For two guys traveling staying in Nafplio the Pension Asimoni was perfect. The owner is so nice and keeps the place in such good condition.
