"The owner provided outstanding service for us. We were unable to use our US credit cards at the gas station and he offered to drive with us to a station and use his card and we paid him for the gas. Don’t be put off by the fact that reception for check in closes at 9; the automated kiosk was very easy to use. The rooms and breakfast are basic but fine for an overnight stop. "

"The best parts of this facility are the restaurant and the location. It is by the river, and just a 10 minute walk from the main church and grotto. There is ample shopping nearby. The food is terrific here! The downsides: my room smelled bad, like sweat. It was not crowded, so they should have waited a day or two after the last customers, and let the room air out. "Room was very clean with a huge bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very near the train station, extremely convenient. Definitely walkable to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes & the Grotto. The area has limited restaurants so if you walked about 15 minutes, you have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Unfortunately the room had no fridge but the staff was hospitable to provide ice or hot water if you asked them. They even helped me to freeze my ice pack...

"Hotel was good, service was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately they had a private function in the dining room so we had to eat else where. We had a flat tyre next morning and the owner could not have done more for us as we were having trouble getting the wheel off, he changed the wheel for us and put the faulty wheel in the boot as well. We can't thank him enough."
