"Before leaving this review I read a few of the negative reviews of others. Some had decent things to say and some were just rude and expecting 5 star treatment in a 3 star place. This is a no frills hotel. You get what you pay for. Nothing fancy. And that is okay!! These hotels rooms are basic not for hanging out in all day. There are lots of things to do around the hotel so go explore!! Hotel am zoo is in a very convenient location. Close to coffee shops and bakeries and a good diverse...

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone taking a short trip to Frankfurt! It is attached to a movie theater which is both cool and loud at times. There was very loud construction and a school nearby that made for quite a bit of noise during the day. Outside of that, the front desk was very accommodating, the breakfast was wonderful, and the area was very walkable. They have good wifi and can make accommodations for food allergies. No laundry service. "

"The Asian man who worked the reception desk was very accommodating and helpful. The heat was not working properly in my room and he took care of the problem immediately. The man who fixed the heater and cleaned the rooms was very courteous. This hotel is an older hotel but I appreciated that is was small and quiet. I would stay here again! "

"This is a very nice hotel with good service and clean room. I will stay here again in the future. Only thing that would be nice is if they added for vending machines with cold drinks and snacks. It would be nice to have at night when everything is closed. They did have some nice cold mineral waters in the fridge in the room, which was nice. "
