"Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. It’s in at the top of the hill overlooking Knysna and not walkable. Not much in Knysa except the waterfront. It’s an overprice place for food and not much to see. The hotel was nice but I would stay in Plettenberg Bay instead. "

Can walk across the sands at low tide but car needed for visiting Knysna to do anything else. Small café nearby for breakfast, 2/3 miles to bars and restaurants."

"Really great room with a kitchenette and a small shared courtyard. I was worried at first because in a page left on the bed there were multiple comments ab of it keeping noise down and there were ear plugs left for the guest which made me think it was going to really loud. It wasn't. I liked the location because it's super convenient to grocery stores and the tourist info ctr is next store. The walk to the waterfront is easy and less than 10 minutes and safe even after.dark on the main roads....

"The dog, Reacher, is super friendly. Water is only rain water so must be used sparingly. The little space is great for a short stay but would be cramped for extended periods. Beautiful garden with little pond right on your doorstep, but careful of wasps. "

"Pierre covers all the bases with their first house. Beautiful rooms with clean white linens, welcoming you as soon as you arrive,, with great advice about the area,lovely pool, bicycles to ride around the island.... And saved the best for last comment... Breakfast!!! Is incredible "

"The guest house rooms are spacious and well appointed. You have a view of the lagoon. Breakfast is provided and you may order a hot breakfast. The attendant was regularly available but not very knowledgeable about what tourists might like to do or see. For instance she recommended an excellent restaurant but did not mention that it was BYO. Knysna is promoted as the place to stay on the Garden route but I don’t know why. The property could do more to inform their guests about the benefits of...

"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"
