"We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room.... We were also shown the fire escape so.we didn't have to walk out suitcases through the hotel.
The shower was great, the bed comfy... The cafeterias near the coffee machine downstairs were a great idea as the coffee machine wasn't working.
Can recommend and will definitely be booking again if we're in Dorchester"
"Pleasant staff on arrival. Room adequate and clean.Communal carpets need a hoover.Bar is quite expensive which I suppose you expect within a hotel,Service with a smile might have been nice.If you want to use pool or gym extra charges which is alot extra especially if you had a family.Hotel is open to General public so Carvery was very busy,no parking at busy times like this,which is a bit unfair for residents. Buffet breakfast was a good selection.For the price we paid was perfectly acceptable...
"This is the perfect definition of a small english town stay. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the location. The rooms were clean and they provide complimentary biscuits and tea. The customer service was good as my boyfriend needed to catch a taxi somewhere and couldn’t do it himself so the Inn was able to call for him.
The breakfast felt a bit pricy, but there was a cold buffet in addition to any hot item on their menu. Their fresh honey comb was really cool!"
"So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo...
"This is a lovely Inn with nice decor. However room 7 which is a comfy plus room has very little insulation. As a result you hear every conversation in the restaurant area directly below the room and on the patio outside. Plus the muffled music from the bar / restaurant speakers that are nearest the room. The staff were very accommodating in trying to isolate the speakers to reduce the noise. Luckily the bar is closed from 1030 and there was no noise until 7am when the staff arrived to prepare...
