"It was off peak season. So the place was relatively quiet and not many other guests around. Service staffs at the reception and restaurants were helpful and courteous even though they didn't speak much English. Our traditional Japanese room was clean and beautiful. Yukata was provided in room and could be worn around the hotel. We opened the window for better ventilation as cool temperature was refreshing. The only gripe was that the window does not have grille, which can be a little dangerous with young child around. Since this hotel also has onsen facilities, we got to experience Japanese bath and hot spring water. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package. Dinner was great with wide variety of food. Breakfast selection could be better."

"Location was really good. Only about a 7 min walk to subway station. Hotel was amazing. I booked the club floor room, so could have spent zero yen on food for the whole trip if I really wanted to. The bar was absolutely perfect. Cocktails were amazing. "

The host offered to let us wait in the lobby for a taxi, and when he found that we could not get one as it was late at night, he offered to drive us to the nearest 7-eleven, in his personal vehicle, after hours. We were so grateful, and would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great experience. No cons whatsoever. "
