"Hotel was lovely. The lobby was really nice with lots of seating area and work spaces. The breakfast was ok. Bar service was convenient. Wish there was a coffee bar in the lobby between breakfast and bar opening. Rooms are small and basic but clean and in good condition. I’ve stayed at a motel one before and would again."

"Point A is a nice boutique hotel that is convenient to the bus and train stations, Buchanan Street and some great restaurants. Point A does have a continental breakfast at an extra fee. If you like coffee first thing in the morning, it may be purchased at the front desk. The unit had USB chargers so we did not have to use our volrage converter for our cell phones and tablets. Point A is in a busy area of the Town so there is traffic noise and sirens from police and emergency vehicles. Our room...

"Great location for getting to Murrayfield. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazingly we didn’t hear the wedding parties in full swing both nights we were there (my heart sank initially when I saw them). Rooms were nice and clean although could’ve done with some extra deep hoovering at the carpet edges next to wall. Would recommend. Particularly the staff. They were great. "

"Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Stay was fine here. Hotel could do with a lick of paint and some modernising of the furniture. Positives: shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of carparking. Negatives: bit dated. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so not amazing. It's a bit of a way out from anything, we caught the train into Glasgow town centre, about 15 minute walk to station. All in all, stay wasn't bad. It was OK. "

"The city hotel is Clean, convenient and comfortable. We have stayed here a few times and is good value for money. Love the two older ladies who clean. The breakfast is good and it’s right in the centre. "

"Was staying on my own for 1 night. Only paid about £70 with breakfast. Ended up with the regal suite in the annex building. Well impressed. 4 poster bed (wasted on just me) jacuzzi bath, log fire’ iron and board, robes. Fantastic for the price. "
