"Hotel is nice my only negative is that they don’t except cash anywhere in the hotel not at checkout not in restaurant and not even in the bar. We had a family room on the top floor which was big bright & spacious shower was very good plenty hot water. We had bottles of water biscuits tea coffee milk kettle ironing board. Couldn’t fault our room. Breakfast was excellent lots of cereals yogurts fresh fruits etc plus the usual bacon eggs sausage etc."

"Location was excellent for accessing the many sites in the area, Bamburgh, Farne Islands etc. Being on the main road made it a bit noisy and busy but would definitely stay there again. "

"Lovely place to stay if you have a vehicle but it is a bit far to get into downtown Alnwick and the Castle and Gardens. It is about a 30 minute walk. Uber and cabs are dicey at best. We took the bus, but it only runs hourly. Restaurant was great with a good breakfast that was included. Rooms are nice, but no fridge. The staff we interacted with were very friendly."

"We stayed four nights while visiting relatives in the area. Can’t fault anything - hotel was great, menu comprehensive and delicious, the staff friendly and helpful plus the bill was surprisingly reasonable. All in all excellent and would definitely recommend "
