"Went for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was spacious and clean although the carpet looked pretty old and the decor a bit dated. The bathroom was fantastic,it even had a tv in the bath ! The breakfast was lovely with a wide choice and we had our evening meal there twice. Both times it was lovely. It is a short walk from the hotel to the harbour and various pubs,restaurants and shops. The beach is there too. It’s all very compact so easy to walk...

"Oh my goodness! What a wonderful place The George is to stay. It was nice a peaceful, with a nice comfy, clean room. And as for the breakfast!! Well we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! In the 3 nights we spent there, we had dinner twice and the food and service were fabulous. The staff were all very courteous. Thank you all for making our stay so perfect. "
