"This is a great hotel to stay in... close to but not in Bath. Its old world charm is lovely, with high ceilings (and the occasional wonky floor!). Leave the car at the hotel and take the bus from the river bridge into Bath. Dining options are excellent with a buffet-style full English breakfast and a range of dinner options."

"Wonderful stay, room extremely spacious , however it was a little warm. Breakfast and evening meal was lovely , however the restaurant can get a little hot in warmer weather. Perhaps fans or more open windows may help. Wonderful surroundings and stunning views. Family friendly hotel, will happily stay again."

"Right opposite the train station so very handy for anyone who has mobility problems. Much quieter than I was expecting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bedroom had plenty of supplies - including Earl Grey teabags, a cafetière and ground coffee, biscuits etc, also towelling robes and slippers. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No food service after 6pm but within a short walking distance of many restaurants and bars. "

"Bit mixed… room for the price was very good value but a bit dated, towel radiator was on full and had made the room extremely hot had to get manager to turn off as both plastic tap caps were broke. Bed…very comfortable but could have done with lighter quilt, Food… excellent!!! Service…. excellent!! Breakfast (continental)…. excellent Staff… excellent all of them!!"

"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. There is also a spectacular Vegan Cafe just down the...
