Very helpful staff. Main building and dining area is well maintained.
The lodge is rather rough and ready. Cleanand comfortable, but in need of sprucing up.

They have paddle board rentals. You can sit under the bridge at tables and enjoy the view. The water wheel was wonderful to watch while having breakfast or dinner. The room cleaners were not very ,ood. They didn't wash the glasses, just rinsed them and turned them over.
The location of this hotel is great, at the side of the river, plenty of seating outside the hotel, with lovely views, couple of pubs across the bridge, which where great too. Plenty of parking which was £10, but didn’t mind paying that anyway, continental breakfast was good. Helpful staff. Definitely go back

Good location for Bath University. Good continental breakfast.
A clean and well-maintained facility, especially considering its age. The room was a little small, but comfortable and adequate. The meals looked good and were well presented. However, the facility would benefit from some upgrades, particularly the installation of air conditioning. The fan provided was quite noisy, which made it less comfortable, especially at night.
There was no cooked breakfast sadly, but there was a good range of items for the continental breakfast. I stayed in the extension and I felt the rooms need updating, they were clean but a little small. It is such a beautiful setting and I felt that area of the hotel needs more to make it more attractive.
I stayed on a very hot weekend but there is no AC and only a small fan. As a result the room was stiflingly hot! Future summers may also be hotter so unpleasant nights need to be better prepared for!
Lovely staff , great room, got a little upgrade that i wasnt expecting, had a river view was beautiful looking out over the river. Good food and great views all around 👌
We have now stayed at the Old Mill Hotel five times the staff are Great and we are always very well looked After the setting by the River is just Amazing
Thank you for a lovely stay again

This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay.
Rooms were clean and had been updated but general hotel felt in need of investment. Staff were pleasant . Only made aware of car park charge day before stay
Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms/bathrooms very clean. Breakfast was nice . Walking distance to Bar/ restaurants. Overall very nice 2 nights 3 days.
Overall the stay was very good, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The negatives were having to pay £10 for one day's parking and an unreliable wi-fi service
Breakfast was a very basic continental but it suited my needs and was fresh and delicious.
Staff where very friendly and helpful.
Room was like a little chalet, very neat and the bed was very comfortable.
Loved the sound of the river flowing to the side of room it helped send me to sleep.
Will definatly stay here again when I travel to fetch my son back to University and when i come to visit him here.
Lovely place! Receptionists were delightful, breakfast was a nice little continental vibe and the rooms were exactly what you need super clean and comfortable
I booked the hotel after reading that Bath was a 20minute walk away (my wife uses sticks to support walking). Imagine our surprise when it is actually a 50minute walk. The duty manager did tell us it was about a 45 minute walk.
All the staff were polite and helpful.
The ‘lodge’ room was cosy (read small) but it had everything you needed. We couldn’t actually connect to WiFi. The HUGE sink made it difficult to sit on the toilet but the shower was large and quite powerful.
The breakfast was ok, nice but basic but as it was included in the price, you can’t complain. Watching the water mill going round was really peaceful & quite hypnotic! Overall, it was a pleasant stay but we’d choose somewhere closer to the centre of Bath if we went again.
