"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs.
The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport...
"Loved the property and wanted to stay but the laundry soap is so strongly scented that we packed just enough for the nights sleep and went to another hotel by uber at 10 pm. We came back for the lovely breakfast with all windows open as we had to pack up and get our car. This super cute hotel at a great price was my whole reason gor coming to coimbra( we couldn't"
"We stayed in the Vintage Family Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The lake view was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The room itself was large, although the property feels a little dated and could benefit from some updates, especially replacing the carpets in the hallways and rooms.
Unfortunately, because of the rainy weather, we weren’t able to use the outdoor pool. The indoor pool required swimming caps, which we didn’t have with us, and the reception...
"This clean little apartment had everything we needed, with space to spare! We appreciated being able to wash our clothes and have a breakfast of groceries we bought from a supermarket less than 10 minutes’ walk away - on a Saturday evening! Parking was conveniently located from check-in, and we took advantage of it upon checkout so that we could wander around town for a few hours. Proximity to everything we wanted to see was great…just a walk away. Bonus was that we happened upon a wonderful...
"Everything was perfect in this place. You got own room with aircond to sleep comfortably. The receptionist Liliana was very friendly and helpful. Communication was easy because she can speak English fluently. I would highly recommend this place."
"There was no parking left in the garage for us but we easily found street parking. We appreciated the elevator after a long day and the balcony was lovely."
"We stayed for one night, check in was clear and the apartment was clean and tidy. The coffee machine was an excellent addition. Our one issue is the AC had the strengthen of a toddler blowing out birthday candles. My partner and I run hot so AC is really important to us especially since it was too muggy outside to get relief. Would skip this place if you need AC otherwise it’s solid."
