"They are owned by Romanians with respective design choices - very cheap furnishings, hanging cables, unclean halls. Guard dogs take the ground floor and roam under the balconies gazing at the guests with funny looks. Food is very limited, overpriced, and extremely salty. The staff looks at the guests with a strange suspicion, which doesn't inspire confidence."

We would have liked to have a hot pot in the room for tea and a place to get just a cup of coffee in the morning, since we do not usually eat a large breakfast. We did have trouble finding someone at the front desk in the evening, but eventually they came out to help us. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very good. "

"Myself, my husband and our toddler really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, as were the shared bathroom and kitchenette facilities. The coffee machine and pastries were a nice bonus too! Really friendly owners who we happened to meet in a cafe in town when they overheard us speaking in English. They were also really receptive to our requests and helped us with some recommendations in the local area. We would definitely stay here again and Moncofar...

"although the apartment had the advantage of having 2 bathrooms, it was lacking a lot of other things."

"First impression is everything. The front door was white but covered in rust. When you got inside there was rust on all the faucets including in the shower. There was no coffee maker. The view is lovely from the balcony. Bed in the master bedroom was extremely small. It truly is a double bed so if you are 6 feet tall your feet hang off the end. I would not stay there again unless the bed in the master was change to two twins beside each other aka king bed. "
