"I stayed here because I had an early morning flight from Beauvais the next morning. I arrived quite late (11pm) and one reason for choosing the Welcomotel was that it has a person on the reception desk 24 hours a day, rather than an automated self check-in system after a certain time, which doesn’t always work well. "Staff were great. On-site restaurant was great for dinner and extremely reasonably priced. Ample free parking. Only slight negatives were slight scruffy outside appearance. I think the exterior of the rooms facing the car park could use a fresh coat of paint. Also, slightly weird smell in corridors, though room was fine. Overall, good and very good for price. "

"New hotel and rooms are pleasant enough! Just don't arrive out of hours otherwise you have to try your luck with the automated check in. This is not possible without your booking reference. You don't get this with a third party booking site! Good luck with the remote intercom and be prepared to speak some French if not native! Then the code should open the parking gate BUT doesn't if you don't pre-book parking - this wasn't an option on expedia and the intercom refused to add parking to the...
