"Really enjoyed my weekend at this peaceful, semi-rural (but within 20 minutes walk of El Escorial train station and 40 minutes uphill to magnificent San Lorenzo de El Escorial) B&B. "Really fabulous stay , the super friendly owners made our stay so good. Also very helpful after having my handbag stolen whilst out in a busy tourist town. Lovely clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds , great bathrooms and fabulous food! They even sent us on our way with a large chunk of homemade cake! "The hotel was perfect for a quiet stay in winter in Sierra de Gredos. The room was more than I expected for the price and I love the beautiful, antique style of the hotel and the amazing views. My one *small* concern is that I had to depart at 9:30- reception and breakfast were supposed to start at 9, and there was seemingly nobody at the hotel. I left my key by the front desk, but a coffee before I left would have been nice! "
