"There was no TV remote at first they said we would have to change roomsbut eventually they replaced the TV.
We were informed that we should dial 9 to get recepion but the handpiece had no numbers! I had to go down in the lift to the desk."
"SOOOOOOOO MANY things I / we LOVED about the Property -
Check In-Staff were extremely friendly and process was easy
Room-Had everything you could want and very clean and, replenished daily
Amenities-Was straight across from a Shopping Centre that had a Food Court, Coles, Aldis, etc
Laundry-Was a big room with x4 washing machines/dryers, folding bench and iron. Also had a full kitchen, massive lounge, massive tv. I highly recommend this facility (and did for another family member who came to...
"Filling out this so Expedia stops prompting me to review. And on the back of the recent data breach to this mob, and their complete lack of response to my follow-up questions, I have serious concerns that this will happen again."
"We booked our first night away leaving our 7 month old baby - The Beachcomber was amazing. The facilities, pool and rooms are lovely. The location is just the ultimate for relaxation and it was also really easy to have the pub/restaurant on site as well. We would love to come back."
"The positives
Centrally located to Manly and public transport and the beach
The negatives
The property wasn't equipped with the kitchen basic e.g. bowl for cereal, knife, chopping board
There was food left in the fridge from the previous occupants
The kitchen was dusty
The shower was mouldy and dirty
The walls were dusty and had cobwebs
The floor was dirty and had stains
The locks on the windows came off when it got windy
There was no soap to wash hands in the bathroom"
"Firstly, we were welcomed warmly by Matthew. Our room was extremely clean, beds comfortable and the shower was hot and beautiful. This motel has a hidden gem (an amazing restaurant) our steaks were absolutely delicious as smooth as butter, outstanding red wines and the restaurant manager Jasmine was so delightful as were all the staff. Ascot Motel offers many wonderful qualities it was a pleasure to stay here. Matthew thank you so much for all your kindness. Congratulations Ascot Motel a hidden...
"It was an average stay. Although they can improve on the room quality. Firstly car park was full of water with lots of tripping hazard, upon arriving the rooms smelt a little off (they could use air freshener for a welcoming experience), the sliding door’s framing for the main room was loose as my son nearly ripped his finger closing it because of the glass. It does give you a 3.5 star hotel vibe
Other than that , it is close to everything with prime location."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort. The resort is beautiful, with a lovely design and atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and a good size for three people. We especially loved the balcony, which made the room feel very pleasant, and the air conditioning worked very well.
One disappointment was the lack of a general lift. The only lift seemed to be for guests with accessibility needs. I completely understand the need for an accessible lift, but having at least one...
