"We'd stay here again, any time. Staff was wonderful, the area is a great way to see all of Middlebury on foot, and the room was exceptionally clean (and had great air conditioning)."

"Simple , clean room. It’s located 8 minutes from downtown. Staff is very nice. My only complaint is they were drilling and pounding the walls starting at 8 AM until 6 PM on the Thursday and Friday we were there. Fortunately , they didn’t work on Saturday . They also didn’t have hot water today when we went to shower. I would call next time to see if they are doing renovations before booking. They should do renovations from 10-4 when tourists are out or don’t put guests in room next door "

"The inn looks great. There are plenty of public spaces to relax. The rooms are spacious, and very comfortable. The inn is within a block or two of several restaurants and shops, and it’s very quiet in and around the property. It’s an old building, so there are some outdated things, but it was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful!"

"This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. "

"The Vesper is just the right amount of historic charm mixed with a clean, modern aesthetic. Breakfast was very tasty and made better by causal conversation with other guests. "Our stay at Jimmy’s met all our expectations that we had hoped for in Woodstock. The accommodation is conveniently situated close to the heart of town and once we had parked our car it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The room was impeccably appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and personally welcomed us upon our arrival.
