"Our favourite place to stop when heading into France. Only two hours eurotunnel or ferries at Calais. Secure parking (gated) is the main reason we first stayed and now we appreciate the 24hr front desk when arriving late after travel delays. Our 4th year staying here and the service is always helpful and pleasant. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Breakfast has just what you need, eggs and bacon, plus several breads, yogurt and cereals. Petrol and large Cassino supermarket 4 mins away...

"This place is horrendous and Hotels.com should de-list it immediately. They tried to put us in an ancient Caravan that looked like it hadn't been used for years. "Very friendly and helpful staff and a great restaurant attached. We had a very spacious room on the top floor which was well equipped. Slightly in need of a refresh of decor but that added to the charm for us. Really lovely village and castle. Good walks in the local forest also"
