"From the moment we walked in, the lobby area was cozy and inviting, chic. We had individual muffins waiting for us to choose as the front desk was closed after we had arrived. They emailed me information regarding directions to find our room and left an envelope on the desk. "Our room had a fireplace but when we turned it on it had a little smell. Not of gas. Maybe it was just not used recently so we turned it off. Our coupon for breakfast was great. The only thing was my coffee cup was so hot it almost burnt my lips every time I took a drink. It wasn’t the coffee it was my cup."

"The event was nicely done on Saturday. Love the mansion. Drinks were very difficult to get, longs lines, not enough staff or areas to get a drink. There was a very crabby man who seemed to be in charge. He was appropriate and keeping order but could have been much more personable and friendly. He was very rude. "

"Overall a great stay. Walking distance to the downtown area, without all of the traffic was convenient. Clean and cute. We loved the out door deck! Only thing that was could use improvement is the barn door to the bathroom doesn't give a lot of privacy, and there was no full length mirror in the entire cottage. "

"It was a great place to take the grandkids for a few days. The weather wasn't cooperating, but the amount of games in the house was a saving grace!!! The pool at the Recreation center was great and the kiddos had a ball! The reason I gave it a 4 is Abbey Springs did not have our reservation and It took over an hour to check in Also we could not get the heat to work and whenever we called Grand Welcome we were put on hold without a call back."
