"Gteat stay just a bit dissapointed to get back @ 8.30 sunday night to find the restaraunt closed @8 but no offer of helping me with room service .a good staff but no real intetest apart from being told what to do alas "

"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. There was a good evening menu with very substantial servings. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. All the staff were very polite, friendly and happy in their work."

"Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. "
