Stayed for one night, but wished we had stayed longer. All the staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. He dined at the Lamb in the evening and the food and service were excellent. There was plenty of choice for breakfast with a range of additional cooked options. We had great views from our room which was very quiet.

My stay at The Lamb was most successful. One is aware of the history of the hotel, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. And the proximity of the cathedral was wonderful

Stayed here for one night. Bedroom was very tired with ripped wall/lining paper. Room was hot but a fan was in the room which helped. We had a bath in the room but water rang cold so the relaxing soak didn't happen ! Parking is tight and not many spaces so if you're early you get lucky. Staff were friendly. Was ok for one night. Breakfast was slow.

Location was excellent, very close to the Cathedral which is beautiful and just a short walk to the riverside for a beautiful walk along the river. All the staff were extremely friendly. The Manager was so helpful and we couldn't fault the other staff who were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the breakfast was lovely with so much choice. The room was basic but had everything you needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and lovely! And the hotel is in an excellent location, with a lovely British pub bar downstairs. The rooms themselves have seen better days, which could be more to do with the age of the building. The biggest problem was the lack of any temperature control during the hot weather. The room was diabolically hot - I got no sleep
