Gubbio is a gorgeous medeival town, but during the festival it comes alive like almost nowhere else in Europe. It is one of the most unique, energizing, ancient celebrations. It unites the community, pays respect to elders, promotes teamwork, and honors a rich independent Umbrian past. The hotel is clean and comfortable great staff, family run. I hope to come back again if Saint Georgio wishes it so. "
