"I enjoyed being in a nice quiet environment. The room was very cozy but comfortable. I loved having access to many cable channels that allowed me to watch my sports. I loved the local flavor where rooms were named after local birds. Although it was a short stay I felt very much at home."

"Checkin was easy, however it was raining and we had to drag our luggage up outdoor stairs. There was a small shopping area on the property with some very cute stores. I purchased some unique handmade jewelery there. We didn't have time to check out the dining room."

"We stayed at the Regent Star overnight for a layover and we had a very pleasant experience. The shuttle to the from the airport was very convenient, the breakfast was good, and they allowed us a late checkout which was wonderful. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but we had a good night of rest. We’d definitely stay here again!"

I did tell them the approximate time of my arrival flight, and I was picked up within a few minutes after I called them. "Its not the first time I've stayed there (the Palms, Trinidad) i call it my 2nd home. Staff are amazingly friend. Room service is on point & the cleanliness is faultless. I would highly recommend. I staff for weeks at a time. There's plenty of delicious eateries around (minutes walk) Although i love staying at the hotel the only disappointment I had was the restaurant, which has been taken over by Tropical Hand. I was not impressed with this company. There are 2 separate companies & i hope this does nit bring the hotel down"
