I am so glad I stayed here rather than in a bigger city like Inverness. Some of the interiors are a bit outdated, so if you are looking for something super modern and high tech, this may not be for you. "

"About a 15 minute walk to main area with restaurants and pubs. Quiet and comfortable. Spacious room with sink and microwave. I was concerned about noise given that it was named “hotel and bar” but it was lovely."

"Beautiful 200 year old hotel with lots of character. We were upgraded to a suite which was amazing. Enjoyed sitting in our bay window overlooking the river and people walking the streets. Excellent location. Just across the bridge to the town centre. Street parking nearby which was free after 5:00 until 10:15 the next day. Good breakfast. Staff at reception and breakfast were very personableu. Cleaning staff were great too. "
