"The room was nice but a bit small. One more foot at end of bed would have made a big difference. On site bar was nice, breakfast was also good, with gluten free bread available."

"Overall, everything was great! The checkin was self checkin but there were staff ti assist. The bed was super comfortable and everything is new. Free laundry and even played ping pong and pool. Great location. Walkable to train station, restaurants and pubs. My only complaint is that the lighting in the room and around the vanity mirror are insufficient and there was not an outlet close ti the mirror to use the hairdryer. "

"Definitely a budget hotel that has some wear and tear in the rooms. It was blissfully dark and quiet though (without a window) and the towels were incredible. There was also a super easy self check-in via a computer. Scuffs all over the walls, stains on the sheets, broken shower head (water sprayed out all over), some outlets that didn’t work, and a door lock that was kind of weird (like hard to tell if it was locked) were the downsides. "

"This was an amazing stay while we attended nickelback at a nearby venue, the hotel room was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, the water from the jug on arrival was also a nice touch!"

"Stay was fine here. Hotel could do with a lick of paint and some modernising of the furniture. Positives: shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of carparking. Negatives: bit dated. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so not amazing. It's a bit of a way out from anything, we caught the train into Glasgow town centre, about 15 minute walk to station. All in all, stay wasn't bad. It was OK. "

"In unusually warm and sunny weather the rooms were a bit hot in spite of 2 provided fans. If everyone arrives at once for breakfast the limited staff find it hard to keep up. But overall it is a friendly and modern place to stay, on the edge of Central Station and the free tea, coffee, cakes and ice cream is a great welcome. "

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was lovley and quiet during the night. It was great that the ovo was within walking distnace as we were at the nickelback concert. "A really nice couple of nights at the Sandyford Hotel. I parked 10 mins walk away by the Mosque, in an underground car park. £24 for 36 hours, you pay the Sikf at the entrance with cash. Great location, I walked everywhere from the hotel and felt safe even walking back in the dark. Bus stop right outside with open top tour bus stopping regularly. Easy walk to the lovely Kelvingrove park and museum. Easy walks to theatre and Art Cinema. Clean room, helpful staff. I would highly recommend. "
