"Very nicely situated on the beach. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice deck to enjoy the view of the ocean. It’s about a ten minute drive to downtown for shopping and dining. "

"Value for money. Comfortable beds. The microwave hadn’t been cleaned on our arrival, but this can be easily missed. The kitchen would benefit from a dish rack & tray as the bench got covered in water after doing dishes. Staff were very friendly & helpful & I thought the cleaning lady was a real sweetie. A very comfortable stay & we would stay again "

"What a beautiful place to stay. Fi & Pete were so welcoming and our unit was perfect for us. With 3 adults, having the two bedroom unit worked really well and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Arthur’s Pass is a beautiful destination with amazing walks and natural beauty all around. Such a great place to stay either travelling through or as a destination for the weekend. We’ll be back for sure!"

"Woodland Glen is a good hotel in great quiet setting. The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and the owners were friendly and welcoming. A number of restaurants were within a few minutes drive. Definitely worth seeing the Glow worm Dell at night after dinner. The breakfast provided was of a high standard and delicious. We would be happy to stay here again."

Large living room on one end of building features TV, Wifi, games / books / toys for kids, and a wood stove. Kitchen was very functional and property clean. I would not recommend this property for winter occupancy, however. None of the bedrooms featured heat sources and the inside of the house on arrival felt colder than the outside. "peaceful location. lovely villa. had sky tv. our villa had a washing line but no washing machine, which would have been handy. wifi not great so made booking next stage of our road trip hard. nice touch having hot tub for guests to use. hosts really easy to contact. would recommend but with caveats about washing machine and wifi."
