"Easy check in actually checked in earlier than 4:00 p.m. no problem construction outside in the road which is not the hotel's fault. The bed was good but I think they could use some mattress topper as the bed was a little too firm. The place was clean room was good they have a bar downstairs in the lobby which is nice. Just a good experience other than the bed. Woke up Bones were aching back was hurting. Just a suggestion to get mattress toppers for the bed"

Pool and separate sandy lounging area overlooking the bay was the low key vibe we were searching for to be away from the bustle of dowtown area. Rich & Ben took care of us and we plan on returning. "Montauk Manor is a beautiful property and very well maintained. The views are spectacular. Monty's restaurant had delicious breakfasts and dinners. The pool was very nice. The accommodations were very clean. The outdoor patio was an added bonus. The staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"I was skeptical after booking and then reading the negative reviews that maybe we didn't make the right choice. To my surprise, the room was extremely clean up on arrival, absolutely no complaints about the room and it's comfort. Front staff was very pleasant. My only complaint was about the pool, which was quite chilly (I don't think it was heated). The pool light was broken and just hanging out the pool, still attached to the inside that left a hole in the pool, which kinda spooked us all out....

"I had a wonderful stay at The Whalers inn. The location is perfect- just a stone throw away from the mystic high street full of shops cafes and restaurants. The staff were so helpful- especially Joe who arranged to retrieve an earring I lost down the sink the day I was checking out and posted it to my next destination."
