"The property is located in the historic centre. Really beautiful built into the caves. If you have luggage, it is a bit of a walk up a few stairs and cobblestone streets so I would recommend taking a backpack or ordering an ape to transport from the parking centre. The room gets humid solely because of the cave structure but the AC system is fantastic! You need to order breakfast a day in advance and there is no option for early check in. Excellent locaton, lovely big room and staff were very quick to reply to any email requests for taxis etc. I was slightly concerned about street noise after reading previous reviews, our room was located on the 1st floor and was very quiet during the night. Would have given 5 stars if additional pillows and an iron had been provided. Would stay again "

"Great location. Right across the street from the beach and a 3 minute walk to the piazza. The private parking is also a plus since parking is difficult to find in Mola di Bari. It is also on the main road to other Puglia towns. It is outdated but for the price and convenience a good value. "

"Holiday residence is a farm that has been converted into a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. The grounds were lovely and the food was excellent, rustic fare. I would suggest staying here only if you have transport as it is a bit off the beaten path. However, the hotel does provide a reasonably priced taxi service."

"Hotel was ok, staff were friendly, however having had a 10 hour working day I was booked into here because it had a restaurant, only to discover that it's shut on Sundays. Had it said this on the website we would not have booked it. By the time I booked in I was too tired to drive into the nearest town for food and had to make do with a bag of crisps. They wouldn't even make a sandwich for me. The room was ok but there was a lot of black mould in the shower."

Yes, the room is small but considering your in a building that is hundreds and hundreds of years old, maybe thousand of years, who cares! You have a window overlooking the 3rd oldest city in the world! Yes, it is about a15 minute walk from the parking garage to the hotel but you have to walk everywhere in Matera anyway, and once you make a turn close to the hotel and see the city for the first time ,...

"Very friendly hosts, very clean! The parking is not private. We did find parking space easily but very narrow streets. Besides that , everything was perfect. "
