"Stayed 2 nights at the Hoop Inn, bed extremely comfortable, staff all attentive and friendly. Evening meal was excellent and the breakfasts set us up for the day. Plenty of safe off road parking. I would highly recommended and will be looking to book again if we are visiting Devon in the future. "

"Right in the center of town and an easy walk from the train station in Barnstaple. Everything is right there in walking distance and it's all just as funky and charming and welcoming as can be! The hotel's foundation has sunken a bit (or more in some places) which is charming but a little disconcerting if you're thinking you might fall out of bed!"

We enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the restaurant and drinks from the well stocked bar. All staff were super friendly and happy to help. I totally recommend the Seagate!"
