"John and Christine are perfect hosts. They have created a lovely set of rooms complemented by a fabulous breakfast and evening meals that are delicious, should you choose to eat at the lodge. Our stay was relaxing and we felt well cared for in every way."

"First of all, the views are stunning. One can sit and watch the whole evening evolve before you. We biked to a few wineries from the property and location was perfect. The property itself was amazing to explore and we so enjoyed our morning walk. Jo and Bruce were exception hosts and nothing was too much effort. We even were given a bundle of feijoas when we left. We hope to visit again."

"The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens. The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud.
