"Great location, staff was great, room was good with a great view."

"Nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben sogar ein Zimmerupgrade erhalten mit Blick aufs Meer."

"I’m going to sound like a Karen, and I recognize the weather was terrible so likely made everything seem worse, but the place cost a lot and I would expect better. Cabins and property were rundown and not super well maintained and the hot water ran out quickly. The fridge made a terrible noise. There was not a lot of privacy despite having a private cabin - couldn’t have any of the curtains open as anyone could easily look in. 2 of the four restaurants in the area were closed and there was...

"We only stayed here one night but it was perfect. The views are so pretty! The staff was very nice and we appreciated having the option to eat meals at Kast, since there’s not a lot of options around. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. The walls are pretty thin, our neighbors woke up very early and we could hear everything. But the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. I would definitely stay here again. Ytri Tunga was a little over 10 minutes away. Snæfellsjökull...

"Economical, clean and comfortable place to stay on the Western Peninsula."

"Amazing view and very cozy."

"Beautiful location. Communication with host was quick and helpful. A great place to get away to."

"The location was fabulous. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and met most of our needs, travelling with a multi-generational family. Many of the light switches were not working, so that was a little inconvenient. The awning door for the microwave didn’t function, making operation a little challenging. We had zero communication with the owners, having tried by email and phone for several months in advance of our stay, even Expedia failed to make contact. That should not have...

"It was very nice, clean, and warm. The telescope was a nice touch. Loved all the books!"

"The house was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for our midpoint stop traveling the peninsula. The remote location was also perfect for Northern lights viewing yet 5 minutes from the small town of Arnarstapi."

"Wonderful stay at this farmhouse. Convienently located at the start of peninsula attractions if you are going counter clockwise around it. Nice people, nice walks and hirseback rides, and fantastic food."

"The location is phenomenal, and the views are spectacular. Eva provided excellent hospitality at her property. I would definitely stay here again... I’m sad we only stayed one night."

"No staff onsite. To check-in we were given a phone # to call for lobby and room key code access. No one answered the phone. Local Icelander helped because there was another hotel with same owner in the next town and she called them to help us with access code. Others had the same problem. One couple had to sleep in their car because they couldn’t get their access code via phone instructions either. "
