"We loved this place! It was remodeled, very clean and modern, at least in the apartment. The bistro area was a little dirty, but we didn't stay and eat there. What I loved about the place: how quiet and safe the area was; how easy check-in was. I was worried about how to check in since there is no front desk on site. "We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "

Dinner in the restaurant was great - they now have a very tasty Indian menu as well as Swiss/European dishes.
