"This is an unbelievable property. The venue is tough to top, on a secluded bay that you feel like you have to yourself. The rooms have an authentically rustic charm and are very comfortable. The hotel's public facilities are outstanding - from the great restaurant, outdoor seating area, and sauna/spa, to the upstairs aquavit bar. That's actually my one complaint - they didn't tell us about it on checkin, and we only discovered it our last night, after it closed. We would certainly have gone...

"Quiet room and nice beds. Only one night table (just at one side). The sink in bathroom needs attention and some repair is coming up. Clean and good view."

"Our room had the most amazing view of the fjord! Very clean and spacious. Only negative would be that there were 3 very comfortable leather chairs in the room for only 2 people so 1 chair was actually in the way and should not be there. We had access to a full kitchen and places to sit outside and admire the views. Host was very friendly."

Parking was a little unclear, but right on the other side of the street, and breakfast was a little light on options. Otherwise, we had a sea view and it was worth it. Parking places besides the cabins and little market in a nearby gas station. Unfortunately not too much else in the vicinity but with a car there is a lot to see in the region. "
