"A nice hotel. Friendly staff. Stayed one night on our 10 day touring holiday. Easy walk into town centre where there was nice choice of bars & restaurants. Some room upgrading on and nearing completion but did not affect our stay.(May2025) Our room was done and was nice & comfortable. Free parking. Good breakfast. "

I was studying the capital Urnes stave church and could just take the little ferry across the field to get there. The old world charm of the garden with the summer house, the lovely appointed dining room and salon, and the charming village climbing up the hill behind the hotel made the stay delightful. If the dollar weren’t so weak, it would be more affordable!"
