"After a long day with car trouble, we unexpectedly ended up at this hotel because we couldn't drive any further. We were welcomed by Andreas and a colleague, and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome after our terrible day! Andreas arranged everything we wanted, and we were still able to get something to eat even though the kitchen was almost closing. "Nice rooms, but not a 5* hotel. Breakfast was very limited - the type of breakfast you would get in a 3* hotel. For hot dishes you had to pay extra while we already paid 500€ per night including breakfast. No value for money. "

"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

"Fine hotel with big rooms (separate with twin bed and a hall with expandable sofa). First level is indeed restaurant, but too bad it works limited hours - just as practically all restaurants in Spa. The staff was nice and helpful."

"We stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time, everytime another room and experience. Pity that 5 persons apartment was not in main building and without bath and tea facilities. Beds were excellent, far better than regular hotels. River view is also very nice. Half board is a good add on but slightly expensive. "
