I rented a bike from the hotel for 20e/day and had a good time riding to Splitz and return (for about 5 hours). The hotel also provided me a helmet for free. "Loved our stay very comfortable property with a lovely included breakfast. We had a room on the first floor and we used the lift, however there are some rooms that seem to be in between first and second floors and stairs were the only way to get there. Just mentioning this in case you were unable to carry your luggage up the stairs. Would definitely stay again"

"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh breads and meats and cheese. Excellent coffee. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. "

"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber man ist sehr nah an der Donau, aber kann auch vom Haus aus Wanderungen unternehmen. Krems, Melk und Spitz sind mit Auto oder Fahrrad leicht zu erreichen.
