Michael is the proprietor and is very friendly and easy to talk to. The gardens are lovely and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance of this charming small town. "The appliances were dated, the dryer didn’t dry but the house was well stocked with dishes and necessities. We did have a few issues. The door to the patio wouldn’t lock and a bathroom sink drain was stuck. We reported the problems and they were not repaired before the end of the stay. We did have an enjoyable visit overall. The golf course and hotel were very beautiful and well maintained. We really liked the space and it worked out well for our group."

"Kathleen is a gem! Such a lovely and friendly host. Went above and beyond by helping us find taxis and even dropped us off to Cabra Castle herself when our taxi didn’t show (saving us being late to friend’s wedding!). Definitely recommend!"

"I think this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. It has a lot of promise - tucked quietly away in a remote corner of a small town off the beaten path. But I could hardly get anyone to check me in and I had to come stand by the front desk to get ANY wi-fi at all. The lady at the desk agreed that the wi-fi could be "a little dodgy" ... that's an understatement! In 2015 there is no excuse to not have solid wi-fi connectivity throughout a small hotel area like this one. After the parties ended...

I had a reservation for 2 nights, rec'd numerous emails from hotels.com about it (including the one linking to this survey) only to get there and be told the B&B closed in Nov 2022 and there was no lodging to be had. They literally laughed when we walked in. I contacted hotels.com online, only to be told they couldn't help.
