"The room was spacious, nice mattress and lots of pillows. Their pool is only open after 3 p.m. which is a downer. Even though I paid through Expedia, I was required to pay, in American cash, a deposit of $50.00. I got it back when I checked out. The hotel is steps from a long, fantastic beach on the Gulf of Thailand and my room over looked it."

"Sok Sabay is a beautiful oasis but outside the confines is garbage and skeletons of buildings that were started then abandoned before finished. The restaurant in the resort was a real surprise with Khmer and French influences. Staff can’t do enough for you. The resort could use some maintenance but for money it’s a bargain and if I ever returned to Cambodia I’d stays again on way to islands. The Otres beaches are within walking distance. "Big construction site all around leaving everything covered in dust even the pool. Rooms filthy, no English speakningen staff, so they had to Call somebody from spiralfer eventhoug we had announsed a late arrival at 20pm. We payed for 3 rooms and were promissed a refund, since they only had 2 rooms for us, but it never came."

"Koh Rong is quiet but the Hill Beach Resort is located near the more popular area of Long Set beach. Probably nicer places along the other beach but your stuck far away from shops and restaurants. The resort and staff were lovely and I think its the pick on the island. They have their own jetty which the main ferry line drop you off at."
